Cubs Sign First-Round Pick, RHP Alex Lange
With the signing deadline growing nearer and nearer and reports of a potential issue with his physical, there was some worry amongst the Cubs faithful that the organization and first round pick Alex Lange would fail to reach a deal. However, we are hearing now that the sides did indeed reach a $1.925 million agreement to allow the LSU alum to officially join the Cubs organization.

The Cubs also agreed to terms with their fifth and sixth round picks, Nelson Velazquez and Jeremiah Estrada.
