Cubs Announce 2027 Spring Training Schedule

MLB is still pretending like there’ll be a season next year, which I suppose is nice. The Cubs have released their 2027 spring training schedule, tickets for which go on sale December 4. For those of you keeping score at home, that’s two days after the lockout will start.

Major League Baseball and the Chicago Cubs today announced the 2027 Spring Training schedule, which begins Friday, February 19 with a road game at the Athletics at HoHoKam Park in Mesa, Ariz. The home opener at Sloan Park will take place on Saturday, February 20 against the Cincinnati Reds. The team also announced that single game tickets for 2027 Spring Training games at Sloan Park go on sale to the general public starting Friday, December 4, at 11 a.m. CST/10 a.m. MST.

The club’s 32-game schedule consists of 17 games at Sloan Park and 15 Cactus League road games. The Cubs will host a total of six weekend games at Sloan Park—three on Saturday’s and three on Sunday’s throughout the spring. The Cubs close out the spring slate with two games against the Milwaukee Brewers at Sloan Park on Monday, March 22 and Tuesday, March 23.

Fans can purchase tickets starting Friday, December 4 at 11 a.m. CST/10 a.m. MST online at www.cubs.com. There is a limit of six tickets per game and in-person purchases will not be accepted. Any order exceeding the ticket limit may be canceled. On Thursday, December 3, Season Ticket Holders will have an exclusive presale opportunity to purchase tickets in advance of the general public.
