Watch: MLB Network Features Alex Bregman’s Club Nemesis

Alex Bregman is known as one of the hardest-working players in baseball. His work ethic is incredible, and his clubhouse presence is second to none. After Bregman signed with the Cubs, players on the Red Sox commented on that impact, noting how big a loss it was for the organization.

This offseason, Bregman founded a performance hub for professional baseball players. He said he wanted to create a one-stop shop where players could improve their game. The facility includes batting cages, areas for defensive work, weight training, and physical therapy. MLB Network traveled to Arizona, where Nemesis is located, to talk with Bregman and his staff about this new hotbed for baseball athletes.

In the first offseason of its existence, Club Nemesis has hosted players such as Zac Gallen, Walker Buehler, Matt Chapman, Spencer Torkelson, and Jason Heyward. The already impressive list speaks to Bregman’s reputation around the league.

Baseball content creator and YouTuber Eric Sim spent a day with Bregman at Club Nemesis last month, documenting what it takes to train like a professional. It is a really interesting video and shows some of the behind-the-scenes while keeping things fun and entertaining.
