Dansby Swanson has won two Gold Glove Awards in his career and is looking to earn his third in 2025. Swanson posted +13 outs above average in 2024, providing the Cubs with consistency night in and night out at shortstop. Justin Steele found himself in a jam on Thursday night, facing what would likely be one of his last batters of the game. After inducing weak contact off the bat of Josh Naylor, Swanson did his part to finish the inning and get the hot Cubs offense back to the plate.
