Chicago Cubs Lineup (9/25/24): Kevin Alcántara Makes MLB Debut in RF
With the Cubs already eliminated from the postseason and injuries taking a toll, fans are being treated to something exciting as Kevin Alcántara makes his MLB debut Wednesday against the Phillies. He was already on the 40-man roster, so Miles Mastrobuoni was optioned to make room on the active roster.
Seiya Suzuki (ankle) and Michael Busch (triceps) are both out of the lineup and could pave the way for additional call-ups if the Cubs are feeling really saucy. Javier Assad is on the bump for the final time in 2024 and Christopher Sánchez takes the ball for the home team. First pitch is at 5:05pm CT on Marquee and 670 The Score.
