Watch: Anthony Rizzo’s Return to Wrigley Had All the Feels (Full Tribute Video)

Anthony Rizzo stands out among all the players who played on the 2016 Chicago Cubs World Championship team. He was the first piece of the puzzle when the Cubs acquired him in January 2012. And for a lot of fans, trading him to the Yankees was officially the end of a great era in Cubs baseball.

Today marks the first time that Rizzo has returned to Wrigley Field since his trade in July 2021. And, as you would expect, the day had all the feels going on.

Here is the full tribute video from the Cubs, as well as a video that shows his reaction to the tribute, and the ovation from his first at-bat. One thing is for certain, there’s no way to watch this without getting a little emotional. Pretty cool.
