Chicago Cubs Lineup (3/28/21): Happ Leads in LF, Pederson in RF, Arrieta Makes Final Spring Start
Ian Happ is leading off and playing left as the Cubs go with a bit of a different look in their penultimate spring game. Nico Hoerner bats second at short, Joc Pederson is in right, David Bote cleans up at second, and Jake Marisnick is in center.
Matt Duffy handles third base, Patrick Wisdom is at first, P.J. Higgins is the catcher, and Nick Martini is the DH.
Jake Arrieta is on the mound for the final time this spring as he preps to be the Cubs’ No. 2 starter when the regular season begins. His stuff has looked nasty so far and he’s declared himself ready to go, but don’t expect him to pitch too deep in this one.
First pitch is set for 2:05pm CT on Marquee Sports Network, with MLB Network carrying the game later in the day. You can also pick up the Rangers’ broadcasts if you’re so inclined.
