Chicago Cubs Lineup (3/18/21): Sogard Leads Off, Marisnick in CF, Arrieta Starting

Eric Sogard leads off and plays shortstop Thursday afternoon as the Cubs head to Goodyear to face the Indians, followed by David Bote at second and Jake Marisnick in center. Cameron Maybin is in right, and Ildemaro Vargas is at third. Matt Duffy is at first, Rafael Ortega is in left, and P.J. Higgins is the catcher.

Jake Arrieta takes the mound for the third time this spring as he looks to find a groove in his second go-round with the Cubs. He hasn’t shown flashes of that old form, but there’s plenty of time left and he’s certainly not being looked at as an ace these days.

First pitch is set for 3:05pm CT on Indians TV and radio, with MLB Network carrying a broadcast as well.
