Yu Darvish Named Finalist for NL Cy Young Award
Congratulations to the premier strikeout pitcher of our generation and our Twitter King, Yu Darvish. The Cubs ace has been named as one of three finalists for the prestigious NL Cy Young Award, along with division rival Trevor Bauer and the always-impressive Jacob deGrom.

It was not even a year ago that an average statistical batter in the 2020 season, Christian Yelich, claimed that “nobody needs help facing [Darvish].” Yelich was laughably wrong. Darvish finished the 2020 season with a stellar 2.01 ERA, 2.23 FIP, 3 fWAR, and a 11.01 K/9 to complement a 1.66 BB/9. The entire league needed help, Yelich, including you and your team.
