Kris Bryant Exits After Rolling Ankle at First Base
Just when you thought things couldn’t get worse, they did. While trying to leg out a grounder, Kris Bryant stepped awkwardly on the back corner of first base and slid off, landing on the side of his foot and rolling his ankle with all his weight and momentum coming down on it. He left the game immediately and was replaced by Ian Happ.

Just cancel this cursed season already.
Update: Initial x-rays did not reveal a fracture, so it’s just a sprain. But with just a week left, this could be season-ending.
