Chicago Cubs Lineup (3/10/19): Almora Leads Off, Happ at Second, Hendricks Starts
Albert Almora Jr. is once again leading off in center with Ian Happ following him at second base. Both have been common sights this spring and it’ll be interesting to see how the trend continues when the games count.
David Bote is handling the hot corner, Willson Contreras is catching, and Cristhian Adames takes care of the duties at short. Phillip Evans is in left, Ryan Court is at first, Johnny Field is in right, and Trent Giambrone is the DH.
Kyle Hendricks will likely pitch into the 4th inning as he continues to stretch toward full capacity. The relief corps consists of players who should have an impact on the season, including a pair who are fighting to break camp with the Cubs. Brian Duensing, Brad Brach, and Brandon Kintzler should see action, with Junichi Tazawa, Dillon Maples, and Dakota Mekkes also in the ‘pen.
First pitch from the Brewers’ American Family Fields of Phoenix is at 3:05pm CT and can be heard on 670 The Score or seen on WGN.
