Watch: Pelicans’ Deaf Awareness Night Jersey Enshrined in Cooperstown
The Myrtle Beach Pelicans hosted a Deaf Awareness Night on August 19, complete with custom American Sign Language (ASL) jerseys and an appearance from former MLB outfielder Curtis Pride. Those jerseys were such a hit (pun intended) that it got the call to join the Hall of Fame.
Watch the Pelicans travel to Cooperstown to hand-deliver manager Buddy Bailey’s Deaf Awareness Night jersey. It is now an official HOF artifact and an important piece of baseball history.
