Replay was needed to overturn two stunning plays by Addison Russell on a Saturday afternoon against the Cardinals. Russell’s flexible slide around Yadier Molina on a Tyler Chatwood safety squeeze gave the Cubs a two-run lead. The second over-turn was on an outstretched dive and a quick flip to Javy for the force out that saved a run.
