
Adbert Alzolay Goes Six Strong in AAA Debut
The consensus top pitching prospect in the Cubs’ system, Adbert Alzolay, pitched 5.2 innings of no-hit baseball in his first career AAA start. He was lifted from the game soon thereafter and finished the night with 6.0 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 6 K, and 2 BB.
Alzolay was sitting between 94-96 MPH in the early going, according to Cubs Insider’s minor league writer Todd Johnson, who is a must follow on Twitter for all analysis related to Cubs top prospects.
