Watch: Kris Bryant Fails to Hit for Cycle, Blasts Second HR Instead

Mark Grace’s status as the most recent Cub to hit for the cycle has been extended another day. Kris Bryant came up in the bottom of the 8th needing only a double to accomplish the rare feat, but he failed miserably.

Rather than stroke a two-bagger, the Last Vote runner-up pounded a home run to center. I mean, whatever, I guess 4-for-5 with 12 total bases and four knocked in will suffice.
