Quantifying Hope: Ask the Magic Number 8 Ball

Because there’s not a whole lot to track in terms of playoff odds and whatnot, I decided to take this weekly feature in a different direction. Absent the need to really quantify the Cubs’ chances any further, I decided to turn to a slightly less reliable form of prognostication: The Magic 8 Ball. Seriously, I downloaded a Magic 8 Ball app and I’m asking it these questions.
